Opening Description: Technician needed for 137 unit complex in Medina. Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical exp and tools, transportation reqd. Full-time plus on-call. Comp. Pkg available. All applicants subject to background, driving, and criminal investigation for bonding purposes.

Position Description:

Resident Service Technician

Responsibilities: Maintain and protect the stability of the assigned property and residents thereof.

Reports to: Assistant Operations Manager

 

Duties include:

1.      Complete, in a timely fashion, all repairs to the rental units to prepare each for new occupants.

2.      Assist in the coordination efforts of contractors to prepare rental units for showing in a timely manner and maintain curb appeal of property.

3.      Conduct regular patrols of the property to remove rubbish from the lawn, trash container and balconies.

4.      Conduct regular preventative maintenance to protect the mechanics of the property.

5.      Rehabilitate rental units as directed.

6.      Respond to all maintenance requests, including after hour emergency requests.

7.      Perform regular maintenance duties to occupied units as needed to protect the units, the occupants, and their tenancy.

8.      Maintain the necessary inventory to conduct maintenance of the property.

9.      Operate and maintain the maintenance shop in an efficient and clean manner.

10.  Assist the Property Manager as needed.
